The Art for All Collection

CALLING ALL CREATIVES, ARTISTS, & WRITERS

The Art for All Collection was created to make art accessible, inclusive, and community centered.

We welcome artists of all backgrounds, disciplines, and experience levels, especially emerging creatives, and artists looking for a community to grow with.

There is no submission fee, but donations are greatly appreciated, as we are a volunteer, artist run, grassroots organization.

The Art for All Collection was created to:

Make exhibitions accessible to all creatives
Find innovative ways to bring creatives from all walks of life into exhibition spaces
Highlight environmental, cultural, and community-focused themes
Provide space for artists that don't fit in traditional art institutions and exhibitions.
Connect art with action, through partners, awareness, and storytelling
Celebrate global voices through culture, nature, and shared creativity

Submission Guidelines

All work must be your original creation.
AI-generated art is NOT ACCEPTED
No hate imagery, discrimination, or explicit graphic violence.
Artists must be 18 years and older.

Format Requirements

Upload clear, high-quality images (JPG or PNG) - any images that are very grainy, poorly lit, or not an appropriate angle for digital display, will automatically not qualify.
No watermarks; subtle artist signatures are acceptable.
Maximum size per file: 25 MB

Art Work
- For opaque images, use JPEG (.jpeg).
- For transparent images, use PNG (.png).
- Upload images with an RGB color profile - pictures in CMYK will not to work properly.
- The maximum resolution is 2048 x 2048 pixels.
- Larger images will be reduced automatically. It is preferable to resize the images beforehand for the best quality.
- The maximum file size for images is 4 megabytes (MB).

Videos or Animation
- Upload your videos in MP4 (.mp4) file format.
- The maximum resolution is 2048 x 2048 pixels.
- Videos cannot be reduced automatically, so upload them in the resolution you want them to appear. The maximum file size for videos is 50 megabytes (MB).
- We recommend keeping the file size as low as possible to avoid long loading times.

Audio or Music
- Upload your audio in MP3 (.mp3) file format.
- You can have a global background audio atmosphere and additional unlimited audio objects as positional or ambient audio.

Copyright & Usage

By submitting, you grant Confluence Community temporary, non-exclusive permission to use your images for:

Exhibition presentation
Marketing, social media, and promotional materials related to the exhibition
Website galleries and publications
Event and campaign storytelling

Artists retain full ownership, credit is given and remains with the artist.

Selection Notice

Due to volume, we may not be able to offer individualized feedback to every applicant.
Selections are curated based on:

Artistic quality
Alignment with the exhibition theme
Relevance to environmental, cultural, or community narratives
Diversity and representation goals
Visual cohesion for the final exhibition layout

We are not perfect, and we are not trying to be.

We are not prestigious, and that is not our goal.

We are building something different.

Much of what we do involves experimentation, collaboration, and trying new approaches.

Even though we bring professional experience and refined skills, we are also innovating in real time. That means we will make mistakes, adjust, learn, and improve as we go.

Most of what we offer is free or very low cost (for that reason), and no one involved is making money from this work, at this time. We are doing it because we believe in access, community, creative equity, and re-shaping what financial independence can look like for creatives.

As we grow, refine our systems, and work toward more funding, we ask for your patience, grace, and understanding.

We hope you will grow with us, and help shape a community where learning, creativity, shared effort, and building a supportive environment, matter more than perfection.

Private Exhibition Community (Selected Artists)

2026 Exhibitions

The REEL Exhibition

The REEL Exhibition celebrates the art of movement, storytelling, and creative expression through short-form video. In a world where so much of our visual work disappears into fast-moving algorithms, this exhibition offers artists and creators a slower, more intentional space to share their videos and animations.

This show is dedicated to the makers who film their process, craft visual narratives, animate ideas, document the natural world, advocate for causes, or simply create something beautiful in motion. Whether your work is contemplative, experimental, humorous, atmospheric, or deeply personal, we hope to honor that artistry behind the reel, and create a space where video is not judged by reach, virality, or trends, but by the heart and imagination within it.

Submission Deadline: January 15th, 2026

Exhibition Opening: March 2nd, 2026

(We are giving ourselves extra time to prepare this exhibition, due to the nature of a lot of video content to review, download, upload, and curate.)

The Inspiration Behind This Exhibition:

Artists pour enormous time, effort, and skill into creating short-form videos and reels, yet these works often vanish quickly in fast-moving feeds. The REEL Exhibition exists to give these videos a home where they can be appreciated for their artistry, not just their metrics.

Our hope is to highlight the beauty, creativity, and depth within these small moving worlds, and to help them reach the audiences who are meant to experience them. We received a lot of video submissions this year as well, and unfortunately many did not fit within the themes quite as well, so we wanted to dedicate an exhibition to those moving art creators.

We welcome all forms of short videos created with an artistic purpose, including:
• Process videos that reveal how a work comes to life
• Animated sequences and visual loops
• Environmental footage that captures movement or scenery in the natural world
• Advocacy videos created to raise awareness or inspire care
• Musical or rhythm-based pieces
• Artistic edits, experiments, and motion studies
• Short-form narrative or documentary-style clips
• Reels designed to share your practice, voice, or message

Submission Requirements

To maintain continuity and create a cohesive viewing experience, all submissions must follow the guidelines below:

1. Format & Dimensions

Your video must be formatted for Instagram Reels:
1080 × 1920 (vertical, 9:16 ratio).

2. Length

Videos must be at least 30 seconds and no longer than 1 minute.
This exhibition focuses on short-form motion built with intention and artistic rhythm.

3. Content & Purpose

This is an art-centered exhibition, not an advertising showcase.
Submitted videos should highlight creativity, process, storytelling, craft, movement, or artistic expression—not sales pitches.
Generic promotional videos, product ads, or clips created primarily to sell something will not be accepted.

4. Including Products (Optional)

If your video happens to include a product or artwork available for purchase, you may:

Note it in the video description, and
Include one link to purchase.
This allows artists and makers to share their craft without turning the exhibition into a marketplace.

5. Community Support

If your primary interest is sales or commercial promotion, we ask that you consider making a donation or joining as a paid member. Your support helps us:

showcase creators whose work isn’t driven by profit,
uplift artists seeking financial independence, and
maintain a space where art can be shared without algorithmic pressure.
Not all creators make art for money. Not all creators can afford not to. We honor both realities, and we build community around both.

6. Originality

You must own the rights to all footage, audio, animation, and materials used in your video.

7. Number of Submissions

You may submit up to three videos for consideration.

Earth Day Art Exhibition

A call to artists whose work engages with the planet, its beauty, its fragility, and the choices that shape our shared future. This exhibition honors the ecosystems we depend on and the environments we often overlook. We welcome work that reflects the living planet.

What We Will Be Looking For:
• Landscapes and Nature Photography
• Relationships between humans and the natural world
• Environmental Injustice
• Indigenous Communities and connection with the environment
• Restoration, Healing, or Stewardship
• Textures and colors of the earth, water, air, and life
• Work inspired by nature, even without a deep meaning, just because it's beautiful

Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age
• Open to international artists

Earth Day Art Exhibition Details

Earth Day is more than a date on the calendar for us, it is a reminder of our interdependence, between people and the planet, between human systems and natural ones, between what we take and what we protect. Environmental advocacy is inseparable from care for community, culture, and future generations.

We are living through a moment where environmental change is no longer abstract. The climate is changing before our lives, habitats are being bought and sold to be exploited instead of protected, pollution, and resource extraction are shaping lives around the globe, often impacting the most vulnerable communities first. At the same time, we are witnessing acts of stewardship, restoration, resistance, and reconnection, people paying attention, advocating what remains, and reimagining how we coexist with the natural world. This exhibition exists to hold space for both realities.

This open call invites artists working in any medium to share work that reflects their relationship with the earth. We are interested in art that notices the land we move through, the systems that sustain us, the places we feel connected to, and the changes we observe over time, whether gradual or abrupt, hopeful or difficult.

The Earth Day Art Exhibition is intentionally open in its interpretation. Submissions may explore nature, environment, climate, ecology, stewardship, loss, renewal, memory, responsibility, or care. Work may be deeply personal or broadly observational, literal or abstract. We are not seeking a single message or solution, rather a collection of perspectives that reflect the complexity of our relationship with the planet.

As an organization, art plays a vital role in environmental advocacy, it creates space for reflection, grief, curiosity, and imagination, all of which are necessary if we are to build more sustainable and equitable futures. This exhibition is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting creative voices that engage with environmental awareness in thoughtful and meaningful ways.

All mediums are welcome, including visual art, photography, video, digital work, and mixed media.

AI-generated artwork is NOT accepted.

This open call is free to submit, open to international artists, and welcoming to both emerging and established creators.

Reducing barriers to participation is central to our mission, we are committed to creating accessible opportunities for artists from diverse backgrounds and geographies.

Our Wild World | Flora & Fauna

This exhibition focuses on the living world, the creatures we share space with, the plants that sustain us, and the ecosystems that hold everything together.

We Will Be Looking For:

• Plant life, growth, decay, and adaptation
• Wildlife, domestic animals, insects, pollinators, and habitats
• Botanical illustration and scientific observation
• Imaginative interpretations of the natural world
• Ecological relationships, mutualisms, and interdependence

We are starting the year with a celebration of art in all its forms. The Open Open Call is our most expansive exhibition, a space for the pieces that don’t fit a category, a theme, or a box. Whether your work is experimental, traditional, bold, unfinished, highly polished, deeply emotional, or unconventional, we want to see!

For National Creativity Month we want to give artists a space to share their creativity without a theme.
