Where We Care explores the relationships that remind us we are never truly alone. Through the themes of Care, Inclusion, and Connection, this issue invites artists, writers, photographers, designers, and community members to reflect on the people, places, and experiences that foster belonging, compassion, and hope.

Whether your work celebrates everyday acts of kindness, explores identity and inclusion, documents community initiatives, or tells a deeply personal story, we welcome perspectives that encourage understanding and meaningful conversation.

Who Can Submit?

Submissions are open internationally to creatives of all backgrounds and experience levels. We welcome emerging and established artists, writers, photographers, designers, nonprofits, educators, students, and community organizations.

Must be 18 years or older

Selected Contributors Receive

Contributors selected for publication may receive opportunities including:

Our Philosophy

Where We Are Magazine is a community-driven publication created to celebrate creativity, encourage thoughtful dialogue, and document the stories unfolding within our shared communities.

Every issue is carefully curated around a seasonal theme. Because of this, some submissions may be held for future issues if they better align with an upcoming topic. As a volunteer-led publication, we are unable to provide individual response or rejection emails at this time, but we sincerely appreciate every submission entrusted to us.

Whether your work appears in this issue or another, your contribution helps build a living archive of artists, writers, and communities creating a more thoughtful, connected world.

This is a shared space for creative expression, cultural reflection, and collective care. Each issue holds space for where we find ourselves: in culture, in nature, in our communities, and in moments of healing.

Through art, writing, exhibitions, and shared documentation, we explore how people tend to the world, and one another. We are here to follow the journey of how communities care and evolve over time.
