Open Hours & Studio Time

Community members, collaborators, and curious newcomers are invited to drop in to learn more about Confluence, ask questions, explore opportunities, or spend time working alongside us.

During Open Hours, the Confluence team will be present and actively working on ongoing projects, publications, exhibitions, planning, creative work, and community initiatives. Participants are welcome to observe, ask questions, start conversations, or work on their own projects in the same space.

There is no formal agenda and no expectation to participate in any specific way.

• Ask questions about Confluence programs, events, or values

• Learn more about submissions, exhibitions, or contributor opportunities

• Bring your own creative or administrative work and work alongside others

• Sit in, listen, and get a feel for the community

• Simply spend time in a shared, low-pressure creative environment

Open Hours & Studio Time is intentionally informal and accessible. It is designed for people who are curious about Confluence, looking for a place to work in good company, or seeking a gentle point of entry into the community without committing to a meeting, event, or program.

These sessions are not presentations, workshops, or critiques. They are a chance to meet us where we are, working, thinking, and creating, and to join in that space if it feels supportive to you. Participants are welcome to come and go as needed. Accessibility needs and accommodations are welcomed and encouraged.
