About the Event
Community Conversations Series
Community Conversations is a monthly discussion and creative exchange series with guiding themes. Each conversation aligns with the monthly focus (culture, nature, community, or reflection) and invites participants to engage through shared dialogue.
Each session includes:
An introduction to the month’s theme with guiding questions
Short readings, artworks, or prompts shared in advance or during the session
Open conversation facilitated to ensure space for multiple perspectives
Optional opportunities to share creative work, and lived experience
Community Conversations are not panels or lectures, these conversations are designed for thoughtful exchange rather than debate, performance, or expertise. Participants are welcome to listen, speak, reflect, or contribute creatively, there is no expectation to prepare or present.
These conversations are open to artists, writers, environmental stewards, community members, and anyone interested in exploring how culture, nature, care, and reflection shape our shared lives. Contributions shared during the Community Conversations may also inform future publications, exhibitions, or community archives.
Seeking connection, inspiration, or a place to learn alongside others? Community Conversations offer a low-pressure way to participate in our community and its ongoing projects.
Why participate?
Participants join Community Conversations to:
Engage with meaningful monthly themes in a structured but welcoming space
Connect with others across disciplines and lived experiences
Explore ideas through discussion and creative expression
Contribute to an evolving community dialogue that extends beyond a single event
